Opening hours of the Consular Section during winter holidays season

Dear Clients,

Please be informed that from the 29th of December, 2023 - except for cases of urgent emergency involving a Hungarian citizen - the Consular Section will be closed.

The last date for visa applications at the satellite visa application centres of VFS Global (Chengdu, Changsha, Kunming) is the 15th of December, 2023. After this date, the Consular Section of the Consulate General of Hungary in Chongqing will accept visa applications until the end of the year, with prior appointments. Please send your enquiries and appointment requests to consulate.ckg@mfa.gov.hu.

As of the 2nd of January, 2024, the Consular Section and the offices of the external service provider (VFS Global) will be open for business as usual:
